Escape Walk Off with Win
In a tight contest at Hell Stadium, the Scranton Escape edged the Peoria Caterpillars by the score of 5-4. Scranton center fielder José Tobías, who blasted 2 home runs, was named the player of the game. Scranton, now 51-48, holds 4th place in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division.

The Escape used some clutch hitting to beat the Caterpillars, a good example being the at-bat of Maziba Adeyemi in the bottom of the tenth. With two down, Adeyemi gave his team the lead, 5-4, when he hit a walk-off run-scoring single.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Adeyemi said.
