Pitcher Joe Gillard was sensational for the Fairfield Flash in his team's 10-1 triumph over the Bronx Bombers. Gillard received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. The first-place Flash have won 7 straight games.

Doing his part for Fairfield was left fielder Javier Santos, who stroked a 2-run double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Santos was 2-3 with a double, while adding 5 RBI.

"We had a nice day," said Fairfield skipper Gary Altman.
