Pitcher Toin Hara was sensational for the Dallas Texans in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Maple Marauders. Hara received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. The save went to Adrien Clément, his 8th this season. The loss drops Maple to 20-6.

The Texans beat the Marauders in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Tzu-yu Xuan produced in the bottom of the third. Batting against Maple pitcher Steve McBryde, Xuan gave his team a 2-0 lead when he hit a 2-run single.

"Toin was throwing free and easy," said Dallas manager Anastasio Ojeda.
