Cats Squelch Aeropostales Offense in Shutout Win
Fort Worth starter James Akehurst put a stranglehold on the Indian Wells offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Cats to a 6-0 win. The Cats sit in last place in the Nick Adenhart League Bobby Cox Division with a record of 45-50.

Pat Yelland helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Fort Worth a 2-0 lead.

"Enjoyed this one," Yelland told the Fort Worth News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
