The Albuquerque Cacti downed the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 7-5, at Stars Field. The Cacti were led by Christophe Langlois, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Reliever Shunji Kurota picked up the win. His record improves to 4-4. Kevin Spurr took the loss. Hisataro Sato earned the save for Albuquerque, his 22nd.

John Gregg's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With no one out, he rapped a cutter from Kevin Spurr for a solo home run. It put Albuquerque in front, 6-5.

"We'll savor this win," Langlois told the Albuquerque Observer, "then get ready for the next game."
