Astoria used a superb performance from starting pitcher Ronald Lee to down the Billings Mustangs, 3-0. Picking up the save was Wilson Deleón, his 4th. Astoria is 43-47 and Billings, with the loss, 45-47.
Yaichiro Yokoyama made it 1-0, Astoria, in the top of the eighth when he hit a run-scoring double. It was a big at-bat in the Argonauts win.
"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Yokoyama told the Astoria Citizen. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
