The Antioch Coal Miners downed the Philadelphia Freedom, 10-3, at The Bell. Herman Wolf led the way, going 2-for-4 for Antioch. The first-place Coal Miners, at 61-29, now lead their division by 10 games.
In the top of the first inning, designated hitter Víctor Sandoval had a key at-bat for the Coal Miners. With Antioch leading 1-0, he banged a 3-run home run.
"Herman is still learning," said Coal Miners manager John Smiley. "The sky's the limit for him."
