The exploits of third baseman John Lacenaire, who was drafted in the three round of the 2030 draft, helped the Minneapolis Freeze defeat the Reno Raiders, 6-2. Lacenaire was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. Dave Sherrill got the win, improving to 1-1. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 3 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 5. Xian Wang sewed up the save, his 8th.

Danny Adolf gave Minneapolis a good at-bat in the top of the seventh inning. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to help send Minneapolis to the win.

"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Adolf.

The Freeze bumped their record to 45-42 with this latest triumph.
