Bowling Green starter Tokutomi Nishida kept the Acapulco offense under clamps, while his team rolled to a 11-0 win. Larry Allen picked up the save, his 1st. The Racers improved to 47-39.

Sam Lynch did his part for the Racers, producing a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning. For the game, the right fielder was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
