Coronado right-hander Dong-soo Bruce pitched his team to victory over the Albuquerque Cacti at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. The final score was 7-3. Coronado's record now stands at 46-39, placing them first in the Nick Adenhart League Bobby Cox Division.

Yeong-suk Ha wielded some clout for Coronado. The catcher had a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth for the Phantoms. It put his team ahead, 4-2, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Ha was 2-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"I liked his command," said Coronado manager Jeffrey Graham. "Dong-soo was throwing strikes."
