Benefiting from Barry Ross's productive game, the Billings Mustangs downed the Peoria Caterpillars, 9-3. Ross slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for the Mustangs. Mickael Raymond recorded his 2nd save for Billings. Peoria has now lost 5 straight.

Ross contributed when he hit a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth. Coming with one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the home run proved to be critical to helping Billings get the win.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Peoria manager Roberto Martínez.
