The Albuquerque Cacti took Omaha pitcher John Denny's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Anchorage Municipal Stadium. The final score had Albuquerque getting past the Raptors, 6-4. Denny went 7 innings and allowed 3 earned runs, striking out 12. James Crowe, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. Albuquerque is now 38-41.

Herb Davidov made it 6-4 in favor of Albuquerque when he delivered a 2-run home run. It came with two out in the top of the 15th. The Cacti went on to win.

In postgame comments, Davidov said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
