Minneapolis right fielder Rafael Vázquez was instrumental in his team's 6-4 win over the Fort Worth Cats. Vázquez went 2-2 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Freeze. Curt Hart picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 4 earned runs on 7 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 9-2. Mitsuharu Nakashima got credit for the save for Minneapolis. It was his 4th of the year.

Minneapolis took the lead in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, Jong-bum Lee stroked a run-scoring single to make it 5-4, Freeze.
