Paczkis Come Back Late to Clip Bumblebees

The Pasadena Bumblebees got a superb performance from pitcher Luis Hernández. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Canton. The Paczkis won the game, 5-4. In spite of the loss, Hernández was named the player of the game. He threw 5 innings of 2-hit ball. Canton reliever Nobuatsu Samurakami got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Gilberto Chávez was tagged with the loss. Canton improves to 46-34 with the win. They lead their division by 2 games.
Carl Questi had the most critical at-bat for Canton. With two in the top of the ninth inning, Questi hit a first pitch sinker from Gilberto Chávez for a 2-run single. It put Canton in front, 5-4.
"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Questi told the Canton Chronicle.
