The Bronx Bombers got a strong performance from pitcher Todd Mullins, who stymied the Chicago offense en route to a 8-0 win at Bronx Ballpark. Trey Robinson was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 2 save opportunities. Bronx's record now stands at 32-46, placing them last in the Darryl Kile League Cito Gaston League.

In the bottom of the first, David Fuller hit a 3-run home run for Bronx. The 3rd home run of the season for the Bronx right fielder put the Bombers on top, 3-0.

"Todd is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Bronx manager Carl Smith.
