In a close game at Phantoms Field, the Coronado Phantoms edged the Bronx Bombers, 5-4. Coronado third baseman Noriaki Hatsutori earned the nod as player of the game. He went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Pedro Alejo got the win, improving to 4-0. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 5. The Phantoms now own a record of 43-34.
