Bombers Suffer 4-1 Setback
|
Coronado used a superb performance from starting pitcher Shoichi Ikeda to down the Bronx Bombers, 4-1. You-liang Rang sewed up the save, his 15th. The Phantoms raised their record to 42-34.
Spencer Meaker contributed to the Coronado win. The 30-year old shortstop stroked a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the second. For the game, Meaker was 2-3 with a triple and a walk.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Meaker said after the game.
