Loss Extends Vancouver Losing Streak
|
In a low-scoring clash between Billings and Vancouver, pitcher José Chávez was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Billings in the 3-1 win. Chávez went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 0, and struck out 9. His record improves to 6-5. The Canadians have now dropped 6 straight.
