Kim goes 4-for-5, Leads Argonauts to Win
The Astoria Argonauts defeated the Minneapolis Freeze, 10-5, in Darryl Kile League action at The Ice Box, with Astoria left fielder Ji-hyun Kim named player of the game. Rod Larcombe got the win, improving to 1-0. He held the Freeze to 1 earned run on 3 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 0. Astoria currently is in 4th place in the Darryl Kile League Cito Gaston League at 35-39.

Early in the game, right fielder Richard Hilder had a run-scoring triple for Astoria. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Argonauts on top, 1-0.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Astoria manager Tony Allison.
