The Scranton Escape knocked off the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 8-3, at Stars Field. Jen-kan Yi, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Scranton won. The designated hitter went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Junji Kobayashi, the winner, improved to 7-6. He held the Aeropostales to 2 earned runs on 6 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 1. With the win, Scranton has a record of 36-37. Indian Wells falls to 37-39.

It could have been a different outcome for Scranton, had it not been for John Huot, the 23-year old right fielder . Huot contributed a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the second inning to put Scranton up, 1-0.
