The Philadelphia Freedom topped the Omaha Raptors, 8-4, with center fielder Harold Stickells playing a big role. Stickells went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs for the Freedom in the win. Jérémy Thomas got the win, improving to 2-3. He worked 7 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Philadelphia goes to 44-31, Omaha to 35-40.
Kojuro Yamaguchi went 1-4 with a hit by pitch, while scoring 2 times against the Raptors. In the top of the first inning, he hit a run-scoring single, putting Philadelphia in front, 1-0.
