Banditos Get One-Run Win at Vancouver
The Acapulco Banditos overcame a good performance by Vancouver third baseman Ignacio Ochoa to knock off Vancouver, 7-6, at Stanley Park. Ochoa went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Lex Herrewijn earned the save, his 19th. Acapulco, now 40-32, holds third place in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division.

The Banditos took the lead in the top of the fourth when Anastasio Buchanan banged a two-out single. Acapulco had been trailing 3-2, but Buchanan hit a 1-0 fastball from Peter McColgan for a 2-run single.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Buchanan.
