|
Antioch starter Lester Bisdu put a stranglehold on the Omaha offense. The right-hander had complete command of his forkball in leading the Coal Miners to a 6-1 win. Bisdu, the winner, moves to 8-4. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 4 walks. Antioch has a 3-game win streak, while Omaha has lost 3 in a row.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, Jorge Sandoval went deep for the Coal Miners. With Antioch leading 2-1, he drilled a 3-run home run.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Sandoval said after the game.
