Canton first baseman Jesús Ortíz had a good game, even if his team did not. The Paczkis dropped a 7-6 decision to Fairfield at Mckinley Park. Ortíz was 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The Flash improved to 37-31.

One significant plate appearance for Fairfield came with one out in the top of the sixth inning. Flash right fielder Javier Santos drew a walk, which helped Fairfield go on to win.

"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Santos.
