Raiders Get Road Win, 4-3

The Reno Raiders picked up a win at Bronx Ballpark, knocking off the Bronx Bombers, 4-3. Starting pitcher Almas bin Su'ud, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. bin Su'ud got the win, improving to 3-8. He allowed 6 hits and walked 4 over 7 innings. bin Su'ud allowed no earned runs. The Raiders' win now puts them at 31-36.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases loaded and one out in the top of the first inning. That's when second baseman Luis Ávila drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Raiders went on to win.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Bronx manager Carl Smith.
