The Reno Raiders downed the Bronx Bombers, 11-10, in 10 innings. Ken Donovan led the way, going 4-for-6 for Reno. The Raiders now have a record of 30-36 with the win over Bronx.

The contest featured some late-game dramatics from Reno designated hitter Matsudaira Sato. In the top of the ninth inning, with two out and a runner on 2nd, Sato drew a walk to help Reno seize the win.

"Guys always talk about winning games because of the 'little things,'" Sato told the Reno News. "Call me old fashioned, but I think baseball is about the big things -- like scoring more runs."
