Racers Rally For 4-3 Win
|
Bowling Green starter Alain Picard pitched effectively against the Vancouver Canadians at Stanley Park. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. The Racers, now 38-26, have won 4 in a row.
Though he didn't earn the victory, Picard kept his team in the game until the bullpen took over and the Bowling Green offense came through. Over 7.2 innings, he allowed 5 hits and 1 run, while striking out 8.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said Vancouver manager John Harrison.
