Indian Wells withstood an impressive performance by Acapulco designated hitter Yoshihiro Suzuki to defeat the Banditos, 11-7, at Underdogs Ballpark. Suzuki went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The 4th-place Aeropostales raised their record to 33-35.

Hidehira Ohayashi broke a 0-0 tie in the top of the second with a run-scoring single. It put the Aeropostales in front, 1-0. For the game, Ohayashi was 2-4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

Aeropostales manager Mario Perez wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
