Fireballs Continue Skid Thanks to Sato, Raptors
The Omaha Raptors blasted the Joplin Fireballs, 16-5. Tokaji Sato was one of the hitting stars. He was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 3 for Omaha. Felipe Leyva got credit for the save for Omaha. It was his 1st of the year. Joplin's current losing streak is now 4 games.

There was more than one reason the Raptors beat the Fireballs, but Sato's big at-bat in the bottom of the second was an important factor. He staked his team to a 3-1 lead when he hit a 2-run home run.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Omaha manager Manuel Ruíz.
