The Albuquerque Cacti relied on the hitting of catcher Herb Davidov to stop the Vancouver Canadians, 5-3. For the game, Davidov went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The 5th-place Cacti lifted their record to 30-34.

Albuquerque grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the sixth, when Davidov hit a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Cacti out in front, 5-3.

"We did enough to win," said Davidov.
