Bombers Deal Argonauts Painful Loss
The Bronx Bombers scored a 7-6 win versus the Astoria Argonauts at Bronx Ballpark. Bronx pitcher Maurice Oakley nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Bronx has run its win streak to 5 in a row.

The Bombers beat the Argonauts in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Fernando Castillo produced in the bottom of the 12th. Batting against Astoria pitcher Miguel Padilla, Castillo gave his team a 7-6 lead when he hit a walk-off run-scoring single.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Castillo told the Bronx Daily.
