The Freeze grabbed a win, 7-1, at The Hole, overcoming a fine effort from Pasadena pitcher Luis Hernández. Hernández went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Minneapolis reliever Rodolfo Reyes picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Luis Hernández was saddled with the loss. Robin Meggison earned the save for Minneapolis, his 3rd of the year.

Lian-wei Khu's at-bat in the top of the seventh was significant for the Freeze. Coming to the plate with runners on 1st and 2nd and Minneapolis leading 2-1, the right fielder hit a run-scoring single.

"We're playing like gangbusters right now," said Khu.

Pasadena's current losing streak is now 4 games.
