Late Magic Gets Fairfield 6-3 Win
Silver Lake pitcher Chang-wei Zhou gave the Flash all they could handle, but in the end, Fairfield left Ashton Gate with a 6-3 win. Zhou allowed 1 earned run on 3 hits over 7 innings. Carlos Martínez recorded the save for Fairfield, his 1st of the season. The Flash bumped their record to 33-27 with this latest triumph.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Kevin Meyer came to bat in the top of the 11th. Facing Silver Lake pitcher Takashi Toru, he hit a 2-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Fairfield on top, 4-3.

In postgame comments, Meyer said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
