Shui Slugs Aeropostales to 7-4 Win
|
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Hsui-chen Shui, the Indian Wells Aeropostales defeated the Albuquerque Cacti, 7-4. Shui hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Aeropostales. Jonathan Kelly closed it out for his 10th save. The Cacti, now 28-32, have lost 4 in a row.
In the bottom of the third inning, the Aeropostales grabbed the lead when Pramana Djambek rapped a two-out double. Indian Wells was trailing 1-0, when Djambek hit a bases-clearing double off Shuichi Imai to put his team in front, 3-1.
"Good to pick up this win," Djambek said.
