Raptors Pull Even With 5-3 Victory
Omaha Raptors starter Millard Richardson was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Reno Raiders, 5-3. Jason Engel earned the save, his 4th, for the Raptors. Omaha's record now stands at 29-29, placing them second in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division.

Mario Encarnación played a key role in the win for the Raptors. The designated hitter punched a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning. For the game, Encarnación was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

In comments to the Omaha Daily News, Encarnación admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
