A 4-RBI performance from Reece Wager, who is tied for 3rd in the DKL in RBI with 43, helped the Minneapolis Freeze beat the Joplin Fireballs, 6-4. Rodolfo Reyes picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Bob Brown was tagged with the loss. Earning his 3rd save for Minneapolis was Cory McCoy.

Wager had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the fifth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Freeze went on to win.

"Reece is still learning," said Freeze manager John Justin. "The sky's the limit for him."

Minneapolis is now riding a 3-game win streak.
