The exploits of first baseman Jon Miron, who is rated as the 35th best prospect by BNN, helped the Silver Lake Baristas defeat the Scranton Escape, 10-2. Miron was 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Silver Lake is last in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division with a record of 22-34.

Miron contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Silver Lake get the win.
