The Billings Mustangs wiggled past the Peoria Caterpillars, 4-3, at Cobb Field. Billings pitcher Luis Sánchez earned player of the game honors. Billings reliever John Otten picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Adam Stickells was collared with the loss. Billings is in 4th place in the Darryl Kile League Cito Gaston League with a record of 25-28.

Billings won the game in the bottom of the 13th inning. With one out and Adam Stickells on the mound for Peoria, first baseman Way-ming Wang hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Mustangs fans to their feet.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Peoria manager Roberto Martínez.
