Canadians Stick Aeropostales with 4-1 Loss
Alberto Ramírez never let the Aeropostales get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his forkball, to pitch the Canadians to a 4-1 win. The winning pitcher was Ramírez, now 4-2. He tossed 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 4. Vancouver currently is in 4th place in the Nick Adenhart League Bobby Cox Division at 27-26.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, second baseman Horiuchi Rin had a key at-bat for the Canadians. With Vancouver leading 1-0, he banged a 2-run home run.

"Alberto's tempo and rhythm were good," said Canadians manager John Harrison. "He was the key to us winning."
