A 5-RBI performance from the 26-year old catcher Kadambi Patterjee helped the Scranton Escape beat the Antioch Coal Miners, 8-4. The Escape improved to 29-22.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the seventh, with the game tied, Il-hwan Kim was at the plate when Scranton scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Escape to go in front, 5-4.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Kim told the Scranton Gazette.
