Banditos right fielder Dave Braun put his stamp on his team's 7-5 win over the Minneapolis Freeze. Braun was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Acapulco in the contest. Lex Herrewijn was called on to finish, recording his 15th save. The Banditos go to 27-25, putting them 5th in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and two out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when second baseman Bill Grant, who leads the NAL in runs scored with 43, drew a walk. The Banditos went on to win.
