The Minneapolis Freeze downed the Acapulco Banditos, 9-3, at Underdogs Ballpark. Reece Wager led the way, going 3-for-5 for Minneapolis. Minneapolis reliever Rodolfo Reyes was credited with the win, to go to 2-0. Jon Green took the loss for Acapulco. With the win, the Freeze improved to 23-25.

The Freeze got a lift from left fielder Rafael Vázquez who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning off Jon Green. It was his 8th RBI of the season and put Minneapolis in front, 4-3.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Wager.
