Coal Miners Come Back Late to Clip Escape
The Antioch Coal Miners did just enough to sneak past the Scranton Escape, 8-7, at Hell Stadium. Antioch first baseman Herman Wolf earned player of the game honors. Eddie Rosado earned the save, his 8th, for the Coal Miners. Antioch is now 36-13, 4½ games up in the Darryl Kile League Cito Gaston League.

Matthew Robinson drew 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI for Antioch. The 29-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Bryan Billings. It was his 9th walk of the season.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Robinson said.
