Escape Jolt Raiders with Late Rally
The Scranton Escape did just enough to sneak past the Reno Raiders, 5-4, at House of Pain. Scranton first baseman Il-hwan Kim earned player of the game honors. At 28-20, the Escape are currently first in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division.

Maziba Adeyemi's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a fastball from Mei-shan Huang for a run-scoring single. It put Scranton in front, 5-4.

"We found a way to get it done," Adeyemi said.
