Bombers Win at Oklahoma City, 4-2

Ryan Goldberg pitched well, but his team, the Oklahoma City Prowlers, still dropped a 4-2 decision to the South Carolina Bombers at Memorial Circle Park. South Carolina reliever Tom O'Day picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-1. Ryan Goldberg was collared with the loss. The loss drops Oklahoma City to 11-10.
Trailing 2-1, South Carolina hopes soared in the top of the sixth inning when the 31-year old second baseman Baber Davi lifted a 2-2 splitter into the stands for a 2-run home run. The round-tripper put the Bombers up, 3-2.
"I'm trying to keep it simple," said Davi. "Just do my job."
