It was a good time at The Ice Box, where fans came to watch the Bowling Green Racers and Minneapolis Freeze get after it.

Minneapolis starter Bruce Brown kept the Bowling Green hitters in check, helping his team cruise to a 9-2 win. The save was credited to Xian Wang, his 5th.

A defensive miscue in the bottom of the second cost the Racers. With Minneapolis leading 1-0, Bob Nichols reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 2 runs. Minneapolis ended up winning the ballgame.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Brown.

Today's win puts Minneapolis at 22-25, while Bowling Green falls to 26-21.
