Acapulco and Omaha duked it out at Anchorage Municipal Stadium and the Banditos came out victorious.

Riding the 1-hit performance of the former first round draft pick Yoshihiro Suzuki, the Acapulco Banditos stopped the Omaha Raptors, 5-2. Lonnie Young picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-4. He struck out 5 in 5.1 innings.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases loaded and two out in the top of the third inning. That's when designated hitter Hugo Saro drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Banditos went on to win.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Suzuki told the Acapulco Citizen. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."

Acapulco is now 26-22.
