Canton and Bronx played a hard-fought contest at Bronx Ballpark.
In a low-scoring clash between Canton and Bronx, pitcher Don Hart was a difference-maker. The left-hander earned player of the game honors for Canton in the 3-1 win. Will Taylor finished the game for Canton and earned his 13th save.
Ed Lenhardt made it 3-1, Canton, in the top of the eighth when he hit a 2-run single. It was a big at-bat in the Paczkis win.
"Don's tempo and rhythm were good," said Paczkis manager Omar Arteaga. "He was the key to us winning."
The first-place Paczkis have won 5 in a row.
