Acapulco Banditos starter Travis Smith was in fine form against the Omaha Raptors at Anchorage Municipal Stadium, leading his team to a 7-3 win. Acapulco is 4th in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division with a record of 25-22.

Also making an impact was center fielder Roderick Horton, who drilled a double in the top of the fourth inning for the Banditos. For the game, Horton scored once.

Smith told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.
