It was a good time at Hell Stadium, where fans came to watch the Acapulco Banditos and Scranton Escape get after it.

The Scranton Escape defeated the Acapulco Banditos, 9-5, at Hell Stadium. Scranton designated hitter Ryuichi Kobayashi was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 4-4 with a triple, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Dave Garcia got the win, improving to 3-4. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 2.

The Escape got a big at-bat from catcher Kadambi Patterjee. For the game, Patterjee was 2 for 5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 49th hit of the season gave Scranton a 2-1 lead.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Scranton manager Julián Cancil.

The Banditos, now 24-21, have lost 5 straight.
